Our Programs

We support children's learning by engaging three key stakeholders: parents, educators and the government education system through our two flagship programs, PRAKASHAK and EmpowerEducators.

PRAKASHAK

Parent’s Remote Assistance and Knowledge Support for Holistic Advancement of Kids

Integrates parental and community engagement elements into the public primary grade and early childhood education (Anganwadi) system in collaboration with the government. The program engages all key stakeholders—government leaders, teachers, Anganwadi workers, parents, and communities—to develop children’s foundational skills.

  • Contextualised Content

Providing bite-sized content in regional Odia language via WhatsApp, calls, and SMS.

  • Targeted Remediation & Progress Feedback

Tech platform provides feedback on student performance and actionable data.

  • Drive Behaviour Change

Shared digital nudges like reminders and social rewards with both parents and teachers.

  • Engaging Communities and Institutions

Providing collaborative platforms across online and offline channels to engage educational functionaries at cluster, block, and district levels.

Empower Educators

Support educators in enhancing their proficiency in pedagogy and 21st-century skills.

The program supports teachers from public schools, Anganwadi (government-run child care centers) workers, as well as house fathers and mothers from Child Care Institutions, in strengthening their pedagogy and 21st-century skills, while also enabling them to conduct effective classroom observations.

  • Capacity Building

Educators receive regular online and offline support across various themes.

  • Promoting Activity-Based Content

Regular workshops and resource sharing with teachers to encourage activity-based learning in classrooms.

  • Driving Behaviour Change

Nudges are used to engage educators and promote positive shifts in teaching-learning practices.

  • Enabling Ecosystem

A tech platform is used across institutions at block, district, and state levels to track progress and provide timely support.

The content I receive via WhatsApp truly empowers me as a mother to support my child’s learning.

Impact

Program's impact has been verified by the Impact Genome Registry

Independent RCT evaluation published in Elsevier’s Economics of Education Review (2023)

Our program boosts the chance of improvement for struggling learners by a remarkable 33.5% in just four months

In just four months, our program delivered significant learning gains, improving language scores by 5.5 and Maths scores by 4.7 percentage points.

Independent evaluations by Educational Initiatives (quantitative) and Sambodhi (qualitative) confirmed improved learning outcomes, visible behavior changes among parents, and increased proactiveness from government stakeholders.
