Mrs. Bandita is the mother of one of the onboarded students named Liza. Bandita was always worried about Liza because she struggled with speaking the school language. Because of this reason, Liza showed disinterest in going to school.
Mrs. Bandita approached our educator and described Liza’s problems to her. With the suggestions of the educator, she practiced some activities with Liza at home to help her learn school language. When Liza returned from school her mother would ask her to speak about the day at school in Odia and gradually, she observed a noticeable improvement in Liza’s speaking ability in Odia language.
She says, “Liza was hesitant to go to school because she could not interact with other kids. But now she started going school regularly, and tries her best to talk with her friends and teachers. She also shares the school activities with me when she returns from school. I am very happy to see her improvement”.
