We are proud to announce that ThinkZone is a part of the Google for Startups Advisor Program: Sustainable Development Goals! As part of the program, we will be working towards using accessible technology solutions in scaling our mission of providing quality learning opportunities for young children and supporting them in attaining minimum proficiency levels in language and mathematics.
Home-based learning workshop
We are implementing our home-based learning program across all the primary schools of Cuttack Municipal Corporation and Cuttack Sadar in coordination with Mo School, BEOs, CRCCs, and school teachers. To better implement our program, this month we conducted a workshop for all CRCCs and ABEOs. The workshop focused on how CRRCs can help school teachers in using the ThinkZone app to support parents in an effective manner.
Workshops for child care institutions
We are working with District Child Protection Unit, Cuttack to enable CCIs to provide quality learning opportunities for young children. Recently we have conducted an immersive 2-day workshop with all the Child Care Institutions(CCIs)on how to continuously implement activity-based teaching methodology and utilize technology to help children reach age-based learning competencies.
Reading sessions for children
Reading matters. It is a fundamental prerequisite to the basic skills needed to think critically, make informed choices, and prepare for an increasingly complex world. This month we conducted online sessions to help children improve their reading skills. The sessions were also attended by teachers and parents who were encouraged to have regular reading sessions at home and learning centers.
