PRAKASHAK: Paving the Way for Systemic Change
This year, we launched our PRAKASHAK program (Parent’s Remote Assistance and Knowledge Support for Holistic Advancement of Kids) as a pilot in the Satyabadi block of Puri district, later expanding it to another block in the district. Building on its success in Puri, we further extended the program to Dhenkanal and Jajpur districts. Additionally, we have begun supporting early childhood education across three blocks in Cuttack district: Mahanga, Nischintakoili, and Salepur.
Expanding EmpowerEducators Program
Our EmpowerEducators program has now reached affordable private schools in Odisha, where it has received an excellent response from teachers. The program has also been introduced in childcare institutes in Cuttack district to support house fathers, mothers, and caretakers. Additionally, we launched a digital campaign to onboard and support community educators across Odisha.
Partners in Our Journey of Creating Impact
This year, we formalized key partnerships to enhance our impact. Fondation Botnar supported us in equipping youth from urban and peri-urban areas to effectively teach children in their communities. Additionally, Central Square Foundation backed us in scaling our parental engagement program as part of the LiftEd initiative. Our efforts were further recognized as ThinkZone received the prestigious Efficacy Silver Certification from the International Certification of Evidence of Impact in Education (ICEIE). We were also selected for the Theirworld Education Innovation Awards for expanding our parental engagement program.
Technology and Content Enhancements
We continue to improve our technology solutions. This year, we developed a prototype of AI-enabled solutions for personalized children’s learning. To support affordable private schools, we created a Unified School Management software to streamline administration and data management, ensuring efficiency and growth. Enhancements were also made to our WhatsApp Chatbot and ThinkZone mobile app, introducing new features and content. Additionally, we partnered with DIET (District Institute of Education and Training) in the Jajpur district to contextualize and review our content, tailoring it to meet the district’s specific needs.
