HOME-BASED LEARNING PROGRAM IN ACTION
With schools and anganwadis closed down due to the pandemic, ThinkZone’s Home-Based Learning Program has been engaging parents in their children’s learning through call and SMS. Through this, we are providing parents access to easy educational activities for children in the age group of 3-10 years old to help in their education. We are reaching out to more than 10,000 parents on a regular basis now through this program.
ONLINE WORKSHOPS FOR EDUCATORS
Our workshops for educators have not been affected due to the COVID-19 crisis. We have now moved to an online platform to reach out to educators and we are providing them with capacity building workshops for them regularly. Through these workshops, we also discussed ways we could help primary and pre-primary children during and post the crisis. We have already conducted these workshops for more than 100 educators across three districts in Odisha.
QUALITY LEARNING INITIATIVE IN AFFORDABLE PRIVATE SCHOOLS
We have partnered with affordable private schools across three districts in Odisha to implement ThinkZone’s Quality Learning Initiative. During the COVID-19 crisis, we are also supporting children and their parents through our Home-Based Learning Program.
THINKZONE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CHIRAG AND MANN DESHI TARANG VAHINI
We are now expanding the scope of our education program to a new state – Uttarakhand with our partner organization CHIRAG. We have also started our Radio Based Learning Program in partnership with Mann Deshi Tarang Vahini 90.4 FM.
