Engaging children at home and learning centers

Since the pandemic, we have been using remote instructions by phone and simple SMS messages along with automated voice calls to engage children in activity-based learning content. Our TIME fellows are also now providing education to children at learning centers while following all safety protocols and social distancing guidelines.

ThinkZone’s Hack4Good Challenge

We hosted our first Hack4Good Challenge – a virtual EdTech hackathon for tech enthusiasts. We received participation from across the country for this event which was in collaboration with Startup Odisha. The participants took up a coding challenge and came up with solutions in 72 hours. Team ‘Mean Pirates’ led by Ratikanta Pradhan was declared the winner of the hackathon.

Quarterly Team Meeting

We had recently organized our quarterly team meeting. The entire team came together for a day-long workshop and reflection session. We discussed our individual learnings and our future activities. There were also some fun activities and games.

Live with Learning equality

One of our team members Snehanshu was a part of a webinar organized by Learning Equality. We shared about our successful remote learning practices that we implemented during the pandemic for education of children. You can watch the full video here : https://fb.watch/3ro5392bQi/
