August Newsletter 2022

Inculcating good values among children

August was full of events and activities. Our fellows had organised various activities in our different learning centres for children to inculcate good values.

On Raksha Bandhan, we had organised online workshops for children to make eco-friendly Rakhi using thread, natural colours, and old newspapers. The workshop aimed at promoting environmental awareness amongst students. To foster patriotism among children, we encouraged children to participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, collect stories of unsung heroes who fought for freedom in their community and write patriotic songs.

Developing the next generation of edu-leaders

A nation requires its youth to participate in the nation-building process. They positively contribute to society. On this international youth day, we conducted workshops in urban areas where our alums shared their experiences of how they have created a positive impact in the education space in their community.

We have been featured in the Samaja Odisha newspaper for our ThinkZone Fellowship Program at Puspagiri College, Mahanga.
