Saheb: Learning Language is Fun

This story is about a first grader named Saheb. He is a well-mannered child but, in the past, he had difficulty recognizing lookalike English letters. Both his teacher and parents were worried about this and couldn’t find a solution to this problem.

One of our educators came in contact with his parents and assured them that their child would learn letters in no time. The following day, she started introducing letters to Saheb by the sound that the letters make rather than their name. Then by using flash cards she associated letters with things containing the initial letters. After he got associated with the sound, our educator carried out a letter tracing exercise with him, and his parents were told to repeat these exercises every day at home.

These days Saheb can write all the letters from A-Z correctly and has started forming words. His parents are very much relieved and praise the efforts put in by the educator to make this possible. When we asked Saheb’s teacher she said “We were worried about him and thanks to the educator he is very active in the class and able to learn English better.”
